9TH May 2016: 130/366 Landscape
When you gaze out your window — real or figurative — do you see the forest first, or the trees?
It’s always been the trees first than the whole forest for me because I do take note of the every detail of the whole idea rather than having the idea and going into detail. I think the explanation of what’s happening is far more important than just knowing the reason why it happens.
It varies though while you are in a working operation team. When it comes to dealing with guests on a fast moved environment; you need to always have the forest first than the tress. Having that forest in mind at the end of the process of dealing with guests will make sure you fulfill the request or enquiry the guest needs however the trees of how the forest would be will be how much effort you willing to make depending on the situation you are in.
If I have the time it is definitely the trees first before coming up with the forest in dealing with problems or coming up with solutions. In terms of lack of time and setting priorities of what needs to be done first; it is always the forest first than the trees.
So that shows depending how much time and the situation I am in gazing out the window, I am able to set to see either the forest of the big picture or the trees of the small details.
