10th December 2015: After 4 nights stay in Dusun Jogja Village, it is time to check out. Overall, the hotel is very Villa like with the common swimming pool at the center. It is also very peaceful and quiet place with not much people around. Room wise is very comfortable and the hotel focus more on an environmental friendly theme and message. The theme of the hotel seems to be lizards, I didn’t ask why though. Food wise for breakfast is limited and same however we could order meal with no extra charges. I understand why it is limited due to the not a full house occupancy and do not want to waste any food. All the staff is warm and friendly. I will definitely love to stay here again if I am back in Jogja. Thank you for the stay, service and hospitality.

Our last day in Jogja before heading back home, we got some Jogja Delicacy called Bakpia. It comes with many flavours from Green Bean to Chocolate, Durian, Cheese, Red Bean and Sweet Potato.

We then make a pit stop to Kraton where we experience and learn the history and tradition of the royal family here in Jogja. The ticket price is IDR 10000 (SGD1) per person/tourist price. It also comes with an Indonesian Speaking guide. We also get our last shopping spree on oil paintings on cloths and met the artist himself. The funds collected goes to a charity drive for the kids.

It’s Time to head to the Airport and I would like to thank PAK DAN from Yogya Tours for your transport and recommendation throughout our 7 days for all the cities covered. A very patient driver and knowledgeable as well fitted with our itinerary and things we wanted to see. Good Job and see you when I see you again.

Jogja have been a great experience and definitely will return to visit more places that I did not get to visit. Maybe the next time a solo trip maybe or with some friends depending who wants to go.

We got a Transit Flight back to Singapore via Jakarta due to our Silkair Flight Cancellation with a Reroute flight via Garuda with no extra charges. Garuda service wise is spot on with the staff took good care on my grandmother throughout the transit crossover as she is on wheelchair however the meals for snacks is okay but with their dinner meals; they were literally cold. Nonetheless we reach Singapore safely and on time with all our baggage intact. Overall our family trip was an enjoyable experience and next up to Bandung maybe with family?
