We started Day 2 at 0930hrs going to another location at Bandungan up to the mountainous area to go for activities at Umbol Sudomukti. The slopes up were so thrilling and narrow, kudos to Pak Dan for making a safe trip up.

However our plan was unfortunately didn’t go as plannned as activities were cut off due to the rainy weather. However it was still a great experience nonetheless. On the way down the bumpy slopes to the pool area was hard to maneuver so I am surprised on how we brought my grandmother down and back up with the wheelchair.

The entrance fee for the pool is at IDR 10000 (SGD 1). The picture above was taken when the crowd was clear so as the rain. We didn’t manage to jump in because we were behind schedule once the rain stopped and we were hungry for lunch.

We are definitely coming back for the activities above the next time we visit Semarang, as we didn’t manage to do any activity as it was suspended due to the rainy weather. We are even thinking of staying over here as they have also a resort nearby. With the scenic view, who wouldn’t want to visit again?

Next up is lunch feast at Pondok Alam for IDR 538000 (SGD 55) for 9 people. It was delicious and worth going. The restaurant is stated in the name card below:

Up next we went to Gedung Songo. The place is like our very own Fort Canning Park. The place has the combination of historical, religious, and scenic with nature. It is also a good place to work out, as the paths are slopes upwards. Entrance fee by right is IDR 50000 (SGD5) however we got local rate at IDR 7500 (SGD 80 cents). That’s a save!

On our way down, we had their local pancakes at IDR 2000 (SGD 20 cents). The filing was either banana or jackfruit. I tried both and it was thin, crisp and delicious.

On the way back we wanted to go shopping at Simpang Lima Street but there was no parking as it was full so we decided to send my grandmother back and order them room service as the rest of us explore the streets to hunt for dinner.

We had dinner at Pizzahut and trust me it is definitely a different menu. We spent IDR 359000 (SGD 36) for a regular cheesy crust pizza, beef spaghetti, nacho cheese with lasagna beef, garlic bread, salad, soup, tea, coke float and avocado float. Worth it!

Since we end our dinner at 2100, we decide to just go the opposite branded outlet. I got myself my jogger pants finally at IDR 349000 (SGD 35) and four pairs of socks at IDR 129000 (SGD 13). All branded under Celsius after discount. Worth it!
